The Successful Candidate:

The Sr. Director for Finance and Corporate Governance is a highly motivated, purpose-driven individual with a strong work ethic and high degree of urgency familiar with rapid iterations. You have a demonstrated ability to quickly find important patterns in data, to identify significant trends and signals early, to find outliers and to distill their findings into crisp and actionable observations.

As a senior contributor, you understand that this is inherently a “roll-up-your-sleeves” role that requires you to get deeply into the specifics while also being able to always connect the dots to present a clear view of the big picture. You have good communications skills, an art for representing complex data in revealing visual ways, a sense of humility, and the ability to be a team player. This role offers the opportunity to own responsibilities across controllership, legal, and procurement. Ultimately, you will be a trusted advisor to senior management on all things finance, legal and procurement related as our group of companies accelerate on its growth trajectory.


  • Overall shared service center operations on functions such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, Treasury, Tax and PEZA Compliance, and Procurement
  • Provide recommendations and actionable insights to support decision making around key strategic growth initiatives and corporate risk management
  • Own financial reporting for board meetings, external investors, and fund-raising efforts. Ensure that various reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
  • Build and scale the corporate functions of Finance and Procurement by implementing and overseeing robust financial controls and best practices
  • Active contribution to building a center of expertise where processes are standard, scalable and efficient and subject matter knowledge is best in class and can be relied upon for quality service delivery
  • CFO support on acquisitions, evaluating business opportunities, financing, pricing, negotiations, contract reviews, determining and implementing disruptive strategies


  • 15+ years of relevant experience that cuts across Finance/Controllership, and Procurement
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Completion (or on track to completion) of a CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA designation
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience applying US and Canadian GAAP, IFRS, and SOX
  • Thought leadership and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Structured approach to problem solving
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple competing projects
