Project Manager

As Project Manager, you have high degree of accountability to drive projects from ideation to completion. You have a “make it happen” attitude and not just a facilitator or project plan tracker but ensures things get done.

You need to demonstrate very quickly that you have the ability to understand “why” behind projects and who your customers are. You will have proven ability to personally deliver large scale initiatives under pressure, with high levels of complexity and ambiguity.

As an individual contributor, you understand that this is inherently a “roll-up-your-sleeves” role that requires you to demonstrate ownership of your project.

Responsibilities

  • Works with stakeholders to translate problem statements into project scope and timelines
  • Leads the project team, including third parties/vendors, on the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensures that all projects and commitments are delivered on time
  • Bridges the communication among different project team members, ensuring clear and accurate transfer of information.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and resources
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create, maintain and track project documentation
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross organizational management briefings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working experience as project manager within the technology space
  • Exceptional ability to apply project management frameworks, tools, and concepts
  • Technical background and understanding of software development and web technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in project scoping, user story based requirements gathering and specification, validation, and release management
  • Proven experience managing projects through the entire project lifecycle
